Val Di Fassa
Val Di Fassa
Among snowshoes, playgrounds and toboggan runs
For those who do not renounce walking even in winter, the Val di Fassa-Carezza area can offer truly unique emotions. At Ciampac a new five-kilometre snowshoeing ring has been laid out, at an altitude of 2,000 metres. A route that winds its way through a sunny basin, from which to admire the Sella Group and the majestic Piz Boè. Reachable by cable car from Alba di Canazei, it is easily recognisable thanks to dedicated signposts. And every Wednesday, you can walk it together with an alpine guide.
The walk to Gardeccia, below the Vajolet Towers, is also fascinating. From Ciampedie you can take the Sentiero delle Leggende (Legends Path), where you can discover local curiosities and stories. There are many playgrounds at high altitude, which in some cases, as at Ciampedie, also provide a babysitting service, as well as various attractions for the little ones. For those who love to slide on the snow, there is a fun toboggan run in the Carezza ski resort, one kilometre long, starting from the top station of the "Hubertus" gondola lift, which takes five minutes to return to the starting point.
Snow for everyone
