Starting from the 2025/2026 winter season, wearing a helmet will be mandatory for everyone, regardless of age, when practicing winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freestyle, or sledding.
Mandatory third-party liability insurance
As of 1 January 2022, everyone using ski resorts in Italy must have valid third-party liability insurance cover.
