Sellaronda: Dolomiti Superski at its best

This is perhaps the most breathtaking place to experience the Dolomites: the Sellaronda ski tour, taking you over four Dolomites passes around the Sella group.

Ski lovers look no further

The Sellaronda links the four Ladin valleys of Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba, and Val di Fassa. You can complete the whole tour in a single day. In 2020, skiresort.de named the Sellaronda “Best Ski Tour”.

The route can be followed clockwise (highlighted in orange) or anticlockwise (shown in green) – the latter is our favourite! The Sellaronda is 44 km long: 23 km can be skied, while the remaining 21 km is covered by lifts. This ski tour is of medium difficulty and requires a bit of stamina.

Tips

  • The excursion takes around six hours to complete. We recommend you set off before 10:00 and get to the last pass by 15:30 at the latest.
  • For this excursion you’ll need a Dolomiti Superski ski pass, as the Sellaronda crosses multiple ski resorts!
  • Visiting in the summer? You can also experience the Sellaronda by bike. On the Sellaronda Bike Day, roads are closed to motor vehicles on the Sella group.
Warning!

We recommend reaching the last pass by 15:30 at the latest so you can get back to your starting point in good time. If the weather is bad (heavy snow and strong wind), some lifts may be closed.
