In order to enable the hosting of the "Milan-Cortina 2026" Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, to allow relative trainings and competitions, the execution of preparatory work, including site preparation, and finally to ensure the safety of operators, athletes and spectators, the competent authorities may restrict access to certain ski lifts, to ski slopes or to larger ski areas or introduce limitations to the transport system (for example by prohibiting the use of private vehicles and allowing transport only via designated shuttles) in the municipalities affected by the events and neighbouring municipalities.
These restrictions may affect waiting at the lift facilities and travel times. When choosing your itinerary, it is therefore necessary to carefully consider the restrictions that will be in force and which may change over time, especially for those who need to return to their valley of origin.
